intranets, today announced that its MeetingPoint™ 4.0 conference server has
been named Network Magazine's 'Product of the Year' for multimedia
conferencing. The Product of the Year 2000 awards, to be featured in the May issue
of Network Magazine, profile the best products and services in
categories related to enterprise networks.
The 2000
'Product of the Year' titles were awarded to products that according to
Editor-in-Chief, Steve Steinke, "Make a difference to the readers-the
enterprise networking and IT individuals who manage, administer, and support
enterprise networks." In relation to the multimedia conferencing category,
the magazine states that with MeetingPoint, "H.323 is pretty much ready
for prime time."
