MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Our latest custom desktop system is capable of consistently producing a very high quality video image and high frame rates with a low bandwidth requirement for video teleconferencing. Typical are frame rates up to 25 fps at 100 kbps send, significantly reducing network bandwidth demands, and can be a particularly cost effective alternative where data traffic must be routed over leased or congested lines. Recommended Minimums For Desktop/Laptop Systems*

· Windows 95, 98, ME /2000, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation or Windows XP.

· 500 MHz or faster processor

· High-speed Internet or network connection. Cablemodem, DSL Internet connection

· 64 MB RAM, 128 MB or more recommended.

· 50 MB free hard disk space

· Record / Play Sound (i.e. a sound card)

· PC Camera to send video

*Our systems can be configured to run on less capable computers, and slower Internet connections. For entertainment quality (clear, but slow moving images), 166 MHz processor, 32 MB RAM, and a 56K dial up Internet connection will do. Network Connections:

· High speed connection to the Internet. 128 kpbs or higher recommended.

· For Networks: Pure TCP/IP, 10/100 LAN with sufficient data throughput for the contemplated conferencing environment.

· IP address (static or dynamic)

· Firewalls: If you will be conferencing from behind a firewall, you will either need to open up certain ports, or use IP authentication. Some firewalls can be set to “medium” or “low” security to allow conferencing. As a general rule, you cannot use Network Address Translation (NAT) or other IP obscuring feature. · Multi-Participant (more than two in a meeting) conferencing requires connection through public or private access Conference Server.

To Send Video:

· Color Digital PC Cam

· Desktop video capture card and video camera (Best. Required for Windows NT Workstation.)

To Send Audio:

· Microphone or Headset (Headset recommended)

· 16-bit (minimum) sound card and drivers

To Receive Audio:

· Speakers or headphones (Headset recommended)

· 16-bit (minimum) sound card and drivers

If you do not have a camera, you can still see others who do send video

If you do not have (a sound card) speakers or a microphone or headset, you can conference with even though you cannot send or receive audio, but you can observe the video of others and exchange instant interactive text.
